Two more successful people from the Roxburgh Show

Keiran won a gingerbread man plate for his yummy chocolate muffins. Jessamy won lots of ribbons for her riding. She came third with her hedgehog in the Pet Parade, second for the sock puppet she made and first for her mask. Well done you two!

Swimming Lessons

Last week we had lots of fun at swimming lessons. We had a swimming teacher come down from Queenstown and Ellyce and Shontel helped too! We learnt lots like how to do breaststroke kick, how to dive - even a peanut roll off the edge! We learnt that swimming in clothes is very difficult! All of us could swim 2 lengths of the pool with our life jackets. All the children in Room 5 are very brave and tough because the weather was freezing but no one complained. Mrs Darling and Mrs Robb were very proud of you all!

A successful day at the Roxburgh A and P Show

Sarah, Willow and Myah showed us their winnings from the A and P Show at the weekend. They competed in horse riding, the Pet Parade and the Radishes!
In the fancy dress horse rider class Sarah dressed as an angel, Willow was an Indian and Jessamy was a toy in a toy box!
Lots of people in our class went to the Show and had an awesome day!
